Did the same operation, 1st day just slept since they drugged me so much haha Just use sunglasses when you exit the hospital and then be in a dark room for 2 3 days. I mostly just slept through it.

Try reading "Naruto:Child of Chakra" and "Naruto - Leader of Kusagakure". Unfortunately, I couldn't find one of my favorites Naruto FFs about a guy who created a new Village (called it like Shadow or Dark, something like that). It had about 24-30 chapters and it was completed but chapters were really long.

I've read so many Naruto FFs that almost everything is clichè to me tbh haha Probably one of the better Naruto FFs that I read are "A Murder Wizards Adventures", "Flames of Justice" and "Naruto: Child of Chakra" .
