Nick shut the book with a pale face and many different thoughts swimming in his head after the mind blowing revelations he just obtained. Not only was the truth about Chronos and the gods wrong but four of those gods were still alive today albeit in diminished sealed states. Hades the god of the underworld had even been moving behind the scenes of history this entire time which was a chilling thought. Assuming he hadn't just been sitting on his thumbs during that time but rather had been mastering and learning everything about magic he could it would be no exaggeration to say he was likely the most powerful person to walk the earth.-- Sleepy_Cat_9mthCommented

Nick meanwhile had Dotty apparate him to the middle of nowhere in order to cleanse the locket of the soul shard in it. Removing the sealing box and the Nazgul ring from Greed he open the box and immediately dropped the ring unto the locket. The soul soul shard barely had time to react before the ring latched onto it's housing and began to convert it to pure spiritual energy with Nick's signature. Dotty watched on from nearby with a horrified expression as a dreadful scream came from the locket as it glowed gold and white before the ring released the now inanimate locket after storing away the energy for Nick.- - Sleepy_Cat_1yrCommented

For me it's always been the egg, like there are plenty of eggs, and not all of them are chickens, but a chicken must come out of an egg. Same with phoenix and fire, there's plenty of fire, the phoenix is related to fire, not the other way, fire can just be fire, be it from combustion or anything else.
