The question is, what do we do now? Monsters can't spawn in this section of the nest, thanks to the removal of the Dungeon veins, so she'd be perfectly safe if we left her here. My only worry is what would happen if she woke up and broke out before I returned? Considering the amount of chaos she caused as a grub, what could she achieve as a hatchling? in their world pets aren't also friends... I wonder if tiny and crinis might be able to get their own pets while still being pets themselves... if tiny could get something to heal and shield him the way invidia does and free up invidia for more offensive magic.. like give him living Armour or somethin.. and give crinis something cute

he's not gonna be smart... he's just gonna be smart enough to know how much he loves to fight and eat... maybe even be a bit more strategic in his fights instead of just trying to bulldoze everything

He had to have known he wouldn't be able to defeat me, as wounded as he was, so why bother making the attempt? I get the feeling the demonic mindset is going to be very different than what I would expect to see from a normal sapient creature. Still, we learned a few valuable things from him, such as the name and location of the closest demon settlement to the Colony. We'll need to scout it out in more detail in the future, since I've little doubt we'll be conquering the place as our first port of call to extending the territory of the Colony into the third strata. I glance out of the vast terrain that is lain out before me from this high vantage point. Won't all this be better when it belongs to the Colony? I look down at the teeming hordes of demons down below. Just think of the farming possibilities… - Saintpuck3yrCommented
