Hello, thanks for the update. In my opinion you should try to restart the series, because your main character is too strong and your world lacks consistency. Your main character needs some motivation, like does he wants to do something? like ideals, dream, to protect his new life? Your world needs a setting, how will gods gain power? are they natural spirits (manifestation of natural elements and powered by world) or spirits empowered by faith (do they gain power by normal day-by-day acts or needs real devotion) or are they just really strong entities with immortality on top or they are real Gods and limited by their concepts. The magic system is kinda strange, usually there are hard (numbered) magic system and soft (fantastic) magic systems and sometimes both. Usually there is magic based around manipulation of mana and causes scientific fenomenen through mana or real magic that can't be explained and breaks the normal rules (the magic is not understood or only few people can do it (because the nature of magic? or rule?)). What are your MC strength? are they mortal? Do they have greater power, but lower stamina? try to power budget this.

I do believe that all vampires have a human heart, Quinn and Arthur have some ideals that cares a lot about humans. Vampires are more beast like compared to humans (they have a stone to empower themselves) and this makes them a diffrent species I think. Still, humanity is hard to qualify, sometimes leaders must be a villain in some eyes to be the hero for their people.

He is still incredible young compared to the other leaders, who had some education and tips from the previous leader. This makes Quinn kinda unreliable for now.

I think he is kinda lucky, the Qi is hard to defend and seems to attack the inside of a vampire body. and the shadow power is kinda super anoying to fight against, slowing and pretty much everywhere. Quinn has the best skill set against vampires that attack close, if he fought against thirtheen leader with a puppet he would die. We forgot that the 13th true power is puppetting and not direct attack with strings.

I think it just devourer the shadow of target. This has a massive impact on the vampire, they are truly vulnerable against the sun (like insta dust by sun light) and add the shadow to his own. This is actually lore friendly vampire power, vampire take the souls (shadow) to gain more power.
