This is my favorite out of all ash_knights17's books. the story was well written and told. the ending was sad but was twisted into a beautiful happy ever after. i liked how Heidi's loved for Nicholas was shown. the fact that she wants Nicholas to go on with his life as she was worried that Nicholas might not be able to bear her death, that was unselfish! the story is romantic and funny at the same time. i loved how the writer build each characters. i loved Nicholas' character being a bully and how he likes teasing Heidi. and her being a courageous woman, not easily be intimidated by anyone, not even Lord Nicholas himself. they absolutely compliment each other. my favorite scenes were when Nicholas caged one of Heidi's leg with his under the table, during the engagement when Nicholas felt his cousin won Heidi's heart and when he got jealous during the time when they were hunting... pretty much when Heidi has given him the taste of his own medicine. it was funny and romantic! i have read this story 3 times already yet, i would not mind reading it over again. since Heidi and Katherine were almost of the same age and appeared on the same timeline, it would have been good if they have been somehow introduced to one another (in Alex and Katie's wedding). it doesn't matter if they have not become friends... just a thought. also, the story (all books) would turn out incredibly captivating if it would be proofread better. overall, the story was amazing. congratulations to the author. :)
