I think she is talking about being saved after the only family she had known died. From what I've read it seems like living alone after the death of her mother was what she is being rescued from and thus feels obligated to repay the Gu family for. if "grandpa" Gu didn't take her in she wouldn't have met her hubby.

I agree. It would make sense why he was so upset about Aaron getting the company without "working for it". If he is the older brother technically he would be the rightful heir.

Aaron said he stayed away once Allister what out of the company last time. He didn't want to harm Aaron (he destroyed Keeley but he didn't know Aaron actually cared for her). He said before that he only wanted to use Aaron to destroy Alister.
