Beautifully crafted novel with great character dynamics.

One of the most brilliant stories I've read. The pacing is immaculate, the world building is phenomenal, the characters even the minor ones don't seem 2d and have certain depth to them, and most important of all this isn't some trashy harem story that the author prolongs to milk more money from the viewers. The start might be a bit iffy but as the story progresses you'll fall heads over heels for the smart and charismatic MC bad the development of the story.

What a beautiful piece of fiction. The character dynamics are second to none, everyone of them are so funny and comedic. Highly entertaining.It's often slow and tedious at times but the character interactions more than make up for it.

Those are trump cards my friend. Imagine the trump card our boi Wei and Di Tian might have prepared. I get goosebumps just thinking about it.

Gotta say one of the most unique Xinxia out there. Well written story, great character dynamics, and a roller coaster of a story. The MC doesn't disappoint, he is magnanimous where needs be, he is ruthless he must be, and he is always cunning and curious. Some wasted potential and repetitive elements, but the political back and forth makes up for it. An excellent read. Only complaint I would say is after 1130 the translation is straight up ass. Even worse than an MTL. Up to 1130 is a work of art, an unfathomable piece of writing. The translator did really really well in the first half considering this story is really really difficult to translate.
