I quite like Lei's character but I don't understand his thoughts about his allies. Like what his opinion on killing is. As he isn't naive, I assume he accepts it as part of live since nearly every cultivator kills, but how does he view their opinions and world views? Could you explain that in Lei's perspective? Especially his opinion on Hu Tao would interest me because he is a bloodthirsty battlemaniac which greatly contrasts Lei's mostly peaceful nature. Does Lei see Hu Tao as a youth that has gone astray because of his upbringing or a necessary evil to change the sect as you cannot affect anything without power?
