Why should he support Stanis? That would make the story very boring. I'd love him to be a player himself and face adversaries from other realms.

I love this new perspective, I'd love to see where this develops too. I've always had this dream of writing, but I've never really been able to start. I hate House Tully as Lord Paramount, would be ideal if he could replace them and become one of the key players for the throne and not seem like an insignificant character.
