Leonel Morales is a Psychopath that does not want to acknowledge what he is. He is under the assumption that if you deny a part of yourself long enough it would cease to exist, it would cease to be him. So he learned to embody the value of another, His Father. This is why throughout the story you see him go on a tangent about his set of values being the one his father enforced so heavily. This is also why you will see a disconnect in his psyche throughout the story and get the feeling that he is lost. The Author hints multiple times that Leonel is a psychopath that is just to deny who is his. Such as when James talked about Leonel responses to certain situations or when Leonel talks about his “dark nature” and how easy it would be to succumb to it like it’s natural. You can also talk about when he came into contact with the savants of earth and learned part of his backstory and that he would slot to be just like them. Also when you see him talk about the guy savant he brought along and how he tries to mimic the person he is in contact with. Just like how Leonel did with his father. But that's not what I cared about. I felt that by denying who he is, Leonel was handicapping himself, and the reason I felt like that even stronger in the later chapters near 1k was when you learned about Aina ability being suppressed by her psyche. So then I started thinking about what his ability is to - I'm getting tired of typing so I'm stopping here but I was thinking about how when referring to a savants in the real world they typical have a limited spectrum of emotional and how the author choice of the word savant could have deeper meanings behind it. Also how he said back with the four seasons realm that a mimic of someone else understanding wouldn’t be as good when compared to comperhenting it oneself and thought that it could have ties to if leonel understands his own values instead of the ones given to him by his father and don’t talking to me about how he did and it's to make the world a fair place
