Love and hate are two sides of the same coin author-san, and you my friend have a addiction to cliffhangers. A dangerous game, this is.
August from Vanitas no carte
Author couldn't include a cliffhanger, so they they had to make some MAX hype to torture the readers instead
Thinking about how the story's going, I can definitely see Rin/Sasuke becoming a thing with how much time they spend together. However, I don't think it'd ever work out. The faux pas of Sasuke naively asking Rin out has kinda let that ship sink. I'd go for Rin/shika now. But! Hear me out here, I can also see Rin/Sasuke being a temporary thing, as in a failed relationship. I think this could be a valid exploration because: maybe Rin is upset after Naruto reveals the truth and becomes a little more unstable/rebellious + trauma from konoha crush, and Sasuke has kinda learnt his lesson from last time, but the forrest arc/crush has traumatised him again, so, Rin & Sasuke both decide to 'get together' as a stupid coping mechanism (maybe it could be a replacement for the Sasuke defection scene/arc? idk) It'd end as an absolute train wreck, but we'd get the funnies of Naruto absolutely freaking out about it. Rin and Sasuke would hurt each other, but eventually they'd break up after learning to respect each other more, somewhat or something ; Sasuke would get to consolidate his Character growth (I don't feel like Sasuke's got resolved satisfyingly after his first try at Rin, he still has so many issues tho), and Rin would learn to be more independent from Naruto, while also getting closer in the aftermath (does that even make sense??) Wow, this is just an idea, but idk, I love the idea of Rin/shika, so maybe he fits into this idea somehow?? after Rin finds out that Sasuke would make a terrible partner. I think something like this would resolve the Rin/sasuke vibes while giving us some more sweet chara development (Rin especially) and your signature combo of angst + Naruto funnies. This is what you get when you ask for suggestions, sorry not sorry XD.
I've read too many naruto bashing fics lately....seeing him as a normal bro would be cool to read
Not the comment you asked for, but boy, this chapter got dark. It really makes me think the usual cheery, comedic tone is really just the set dressing to the mc's serious issues. As much as I enjoy the slice of life, I hope we get some serious chapters like this occasionally. The Narutoverse is seriously messed up, like wow.
Thank you for letting me know that that's a thing, I had a lot of fun looking it up.
"this is definitely a flag" sounds like it could be the chapters name
I came from the authors previous work Villian by circumstance for some relief from the depressing vibes over there, author said it would be more lighthearted, and it's true! Very cute indeedđ On a more serious note, can't wait for Panda-sama to bring their quality writing style to the Marvel game maker sub-genre. I'm giving 5 stars on the presumption it'll be quality as usual *shrugs
It's really disappointing to see the toxicity of this website striking down yet another talented author. I cannot really refute the people that say that the Tumour plotline was a little out of nowhere, however compared to other novels on this site it's nothing in comparison, so I can get over it. The novel's merits outweigh the bumps in the experience. All the work the author has put into actually establishing their OC character and setting had given me the confidence to continue reading to see where the author will go and try to develop their story, even if it's sometimes poorly executed. The story of an OP MC with inconsequential setbacks, power fantasy route, is worn out, and I'm honestly sick of it. Putting down authors who 'dare to to do something different' on the site is just encouraging people to post bad quality writing and what I'd consider 'trashy power fantasies' that drown out the actually well thought out power fantasies. If you don't like MC's facing any kind of setback, fine, you like what you like. However, it's toxic to pass off novels that don't cater to your specific masculine power fantasies, as 'bad'.
Don't know if someone else's suggested already? But how about: Overshadow/ Shade /Vision like these ones because of his dark costume, and because it aludes to his 'mysterious' powers, and his sensory abilities (the cat's already out of the bag) without screaming "I have a Telekinesis Quirk!" But actually, a personal fan of Telekenis'ster: Your friendly neighborhood Pyschic because it's waaay cooler (please don't actually use this name or I will drop)
