The heroine made a great effort to make MC not notice what was happening. But readers know something is up but the MC will not, if maybe get a bit suspicious. However, it's common for the MC to just believe in the heroine for one reason or another. 'It's impossible for her to cheat on me, I'm so kind to her.' or something like that. In my opinion, it is best in the form of MC's only POV.

I wonder... if this going toward Clara making a deal with Alice on protecting Alex while one of them wasn't around. That would definitely get Alice's hope up even further, enabling her to go even further for Alex. Maybe, even at the cost of herself... After all, Alex is 'kind' and will 'accept' her.

I always like it in NTR stories when the antagonists break the protagonist's limbs.

Yes, yes, give me more of those setups. By the way, if you are willing to consider an idea: At one point, far in the future, the two heroines (or more...?) should be targeted by both of the main antagonists. If only to get some other excitement while heading toward the inevitable end. I once read a CN green hat fic in which the heroines were 'passed around' a cast of 'stud' characters and in the end the most 'stud' character got all the heroines.

Separating them is a good idea, normally, but now this gave him a chance to strike a deal with Alice to not antagonize Alex... I will assume Alice's adoration of Alex is obvious at this point.
