But later, the New York police claimed they investigated all the officers in that precinct that day and found no one involved in the incident, that the man was likely an official in a vehicle similar to police, and it wasn't until he helped Ms. Carmen not give up on her lawsuit that the New York police finally "exposed" the traffic cop, made a public apology, and fired that scumbag.
