Typical example of putting something in someone's mouth that someone didn't say. Did I say it's not his fandic? No. All I'm saying is that the author writes in one chapter one thing and in another chapter another thing without being consequent. This should be on the side of the author, regardless of whether it is his work or not right? A bit of order in the book is useful, doesn't it? Especially, as the author, 40 or so chapters ago, writes that, I quote: "with his sons Issei was however, stricter". I think you are defending a lost cause.
