Being a big fan of Shadow Slave I can say that this fanfic doesn’t disappoint. It is very different then most other shadow slave fanfics in that it incorporates a new main character alongside the cast of shadow slave characters. Each new chapter is typically quite long so when it does update you will be getting something pretty meaty. When I started reading I personally wasn’t that big a fan. However once William the MC wakes up from his first nightmare it becomes all worth it. All of William’s interactions with the main cast are fun to read. Also the inclusion of pictures is really. Meanwhile William’s solo adventure might put off some people since it initially feels like a completely different story until you realize where he actually is. Once you make that realization your investment will go up significantly. This story can’t really be read without first reading the forgotten shore arc of shadow slave. I personally like the character interactions and the way the story diverges from the main telling. Cassie seems to be more important in this story and I genuinely find her and William’s interactions one of the best things about this take on Shadow Slave. The sooner we get more of that the better.

Haughty, naughty, creepy, and crazy were together. Saint, Fiend, Serpent, and Nightmare were with them, as well. Unlike the first two, the third Sunny knew no peace. This is probably where some of those extra shadow fragments went. Makes more sense why he has so few in 4 years.
