Do people even read. From what im reading he isnt going there to try to win her or smth just to see her once.

Reading through 230-245 is just a chore and i cant handle the cringiness and stupidity of the MC. Like to be honest in no situation does he appear to be smart like he is stated to be and all his power comes due to luck and background.

Quite a decent cultivation original novel, but my problem with it is that like other original cultivation novels it hones in to the murderhobo portion of cultivation and tries to rationalize it and make the MC struggle emotionally with aspects that most chinese MC deal with quite easily or one might say inhumanely. In doing so to me makes the MC feel even less real. In fairness this is the best way for me to explain it because my annoyance with the novel is quite subtle and probably relates to chinese authors leaving more things up in the air and more subtle while original or western or whatever authors try to explain every little thing or feeling any character is feeling. This feels more like them trying too hard to not make the same mistake chinese authors make instead of just writing normally, but i could be wrong, My biggest gripe with the novel comes around chapter 220-230 though. Because it showcases exactly the kind of MC luck the MC was said not to have. A random old dude saving his ass when he should be dead due to his naivety and stupidity. Like no matter how you bullshit around this i just cant accept that as anything other than plot armor. Because even the shittiest most egregious plot armor can be explained, so 'ye well but he was paying attention to him the whole time' is not valid reasoning, maybe if it was foreshadowed, but it wasn't. Also for a multi billion year old being his dad's parenting routine is pretty shit for his son to be that naïve and unprepared for the lower world. Honestly the only reason I'm writing this is cause i see the author reply and i want to see his reasoning.

A novel that starts exactly like Warlock of the magus world does not deserve this high of a rating. I am baffled by people calling this novel original, as it brings nothing new except the system, and that's arguably the easiest thing to come up with especially with how simple it is. Hopefully it gets better but the WMW theme doesn't work that well for cultivation novels either.

Comparing this to reverend insanity and tales of herding gods is a disgrace and completely delusional.

So far i see nothing impressive about the novel just some inconsistencies right off the bat

We just had 2 whole chapters explaining how strong martial sovereign is and now they are saying they might escape with some other emperors and some trash Dissapointing to say the least from the author
