Could have been pretty interesting. The author sets up a world with many different types of monsters and abilities but literally only talks about ghosts. The main character could have tons of different abilities and multiple power systems and even mentions at the start he would like to do more than one. Then, he quickly focuses on one. boring. It is a waste of the premise
The mc is really stupid for a regressor and so are most of the characters. The world has potential but it's held back a ton. Even on chapter 200 the mc cares more about boring basic skills than any of the cool elemental attacks that are hinted at. the single most terrible part is the author is stretching out chapters to get paid more. I just read a 3 chapter arc about selecting a mission and most of what was said was repetition. if you want to read this skip every 3 characters
Yoooo what about your equipment and weapons fool? What about the maps and catalogs all yall need to dungeon dive? How can you expect a ton if kids that have never been taught forging to make stuff? đ¤
You(author) did good work setting up his multi element talent with foreshadowing anyway. This is a magic world even if it is realistic so you don't have to exposition dump here. I appreciate the hard magic system you're going for but the character feels less intelligent by his rambling that walks us the audience through a process he should already understand
Years too late but you don't need a whole chapter dedicated to the dilemma of picking a route if the very next chapter we'll learn he can use both anyway. Also symbolically lightning and thunder are one. I understand you were going for a sound thing but lightning can't pass through air without making thunder anyway and it feels like a slap in the face to learn he'll get both after all that even though I knew it was coming anyway.
