In that story, Kondu - Bring and Kondru – kill almost have the same pronunciation. King order Kondu but soldiers heard the Kondru. So, this mishap happened while the king's capital was entirely burned by the wife of the person who was killed as a thief. The thief was later proved to be innocent by the wife. I don't know whether she truly burned the entire or not. I also verified that some people built a temple for her in the southern mountain parts of India. - BasiliskOfTheSun3yrCommented
Each mech probably gives some insignificant sensory input that is not registered by the user consciously. But since the brain Is still capable of processing background noise (just like how you would respond if someone calls your name in a crowded party), the user will, with time, get used to the format of background noise their specific mech produces. In times of great mental stress the brain might get overclocked and consciously work with the pilots battle reflexes to calculate this insignificant data, creating the sensation of a "feedback loop".
