While I really like the premise the story, I think the characterization of the the main and supporting characters is horrible. The Main character is supposed to be in his 30s or close to his 30s when he becomes a journeyman, yet he still acts like he is in his teens. I don't know about the later chapters but I feel like he doesn't really grow and act like someone his age and experience would.

Honestly not even that weird. The aristocratic elite spoke Greek even during the height of the Roman Empire.
