It was stated earlier in the story that Jason is immune to his own firemagic, so why is his ice magic not immune to it. As a logical conclusion the his ice should be immune to his own fire too unless he wills it to not be immune.

I think especially right after meld torturing raz, lith doesnt want the situation again. In the end it means either only lith is in danger when returning or they both are if kamila goes ahead first. So I see no reason for Lith to accept in any way to let his wife run into needless danger shortly after finally beeing able to really love again thanks to her.

People are just too used to dramatic longgoing deaths. A proper death by suprise is almost never used for any main character member. And i love that it happened, shows that there are plenty monsters(powerhouses) out there who can suprise instakill just like out MC can, and we dont get any plotarmor.

I love the novel for not giving loved characters plotarmor, but also sad

They wont, they deliberatly tried to not mess with him because they suspected him to be an awakened and will now just try harder to have him stay on their side. King and Queen arent idiots, Tyris would have killed them instead of making them king and Queen itherwise.

Was reading till somewhere in the 200s and never got good, MC never really had any trouble with anything, always had something to get out and away with ease, was really boring to read and couldnt be bothered to read any more of it
