When I was a kid me and my cousins and I used to fetch water from a well at our grandparents' summer house. The trail was tough, too. We had to go a bit and then up a hill and down to the well and back 1-5kg in each hand, that's about 2-10 jin, I believe.

What happened to 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Mrs. Su? It's so confusing... who is who exactly?
Can someone please clarify how many wives and mother-in-laws there are in this household?

It's not "racism," but colorism. It's true that most Asian countries have the "fair is better/pretty" ideology, but we all should know by now that all colors are beautiful. It's confidence that truly makes one shine. Most of us don't have that. Our parents never really instilled confidence in our own selves, so we internalize all the flaws of society and bring ourselves further down and desire shallow things like fairer skin, lighter bodies, etc. I'm Asian so, I can only speak on Asian issues/culture, but it's probably universal except the "beauty standards" vary by continents.
