It really was a mistake. Here in Brazil there is linguistic regionalism. "Father is going to fight us." Instead of Our father will fight with us. The "the" and "his" were placed to make sense in the translation. I forgot to remove regionalism from the sentence.As it was a conversation between brothers, I thought it would be cool to add some informality to the conversation.However, I forgot to consider that it seems wrong or gives you the wrong information.
