The prison is better. You’ll have a secure perimeter at the prison which isn’t something you can just build overnight it’ll take months to build that type of thing from scratch on the Herschel’s farm if even. There is enough land at the prison to farm whatever you want within the prison grounds.

Iron should be the lowest grade to at least ensure a smooth progression from bronze to silver to gold, bronze to iron to silver to gold doesn’t look right.
