This mc is just so-so.

This chap is why I hate typical harem novels especially typical xianxia love routes which is full of cringe lines

Hostage the family then blackmail the mc to bar the hidden mysterious master then force mc to become ruthless. This will save this novel. Kill the first friend for character development instead of typical xianxia love absurd routes.

It would be wonderful if ml only loved one fml but sadly. Still good tho

These two old men are so wholesome if I compare them to what I've read so far about nobles

Mc is level headed after such an ordeal. Truly praiseworthy and expecting a good ol sweet revenge and thrashing his relationship to a reset
