Author is... Letvsay lost in his world setting. In previous chapters the treasure was supposedly be intact and somewhere below our heroine house, but now there is a secret tunnel ti it from somewhere in the mountain, same mountain that people go to to forage for foid and wood... Nit to mention that Tang family was supposed to arrive in the village long after the treasure was buried and only vague map of the location was available, without mention of a very long tunnel. It would have been better to expand a cave in that mountain then to make a tunnel from there to the probably flat terrain were village is now located... Thid is only chapter number 247 and author is already in the dip... To say politely...

Yes. Unfortunately those authors tend to skip on research about some parts that they are writing about. Some about medical knowledge like here, as heroine is not in medical field then "medical knowledge? Is it tasty?", or missing about basic of firearms handling, or anything that is used once. Cos whi would care about such a small detail as artery gushing with blood.

I want ti point that all of thus is abot Tong Sanlang, grandson of Tong Tiehu... Either author has a serious problem eith keeping track of his characters or translator is a moron or do not give a frak about any consistency

Voodoo is not a synonim of Witchcraft or Magic...
