This is a fairly enjoyable novel if you enjoy reading about an extremely overpowered MC who never faces any difficulties. Notably there are no arrogant young MC and not too much faceslapping in this novel. If anything, the MC is the arrogant young master, though he does not act like the general stupid, small minded young master but certainly is still a very arrogant character. The raw name is 仙帝的自我修养, but there are only about 200 chapters out now.
A boring, generic novel where for some reason everyone looks down on the MC and constantly wants to humiliate him. This is a standard face-slap novel with the guise of a beast-raising novel. I generally like novels in the mystical-pet genre like Monster Pet Evolution, but this is a huge disappointment and is not worth reading. I hope it's not the picked novel for this week.
Very enjoyable novel. There are some mistakes in the translation, but they are not too many and don't majorly detract from the reading experience. The first few chapters of the novel are rather mediocre as the MC's power is introduced, but as the world gets built up, things become much better. The real joy is the world the MC creates, the people in it, and his and others' interactions with it. I think this is the best of this week's set of novels, though this week the novel choice is much higher quality than usual, and I hope it's chosen.
A great book, obviously heavily influenced by Lord of the Mysteries. The Contractbound system is less restrictive than the sequence system of LotM, but still provides distinct powers making each interesting, rather than the generic cultivation powers of most novels. The writing quality is better than most on this site, and the novel's plot progression is well thought out. Some points, like Graham and Valentine's backgrounds that have been hinted at strongly, I believe should have been revealed much earlier, rather than the author arbitrarily concealing, but on the whole the revealing of the mysterious world is rather well done. I'd consider this one of the best original novels on this site.
Big fan of this novel. It's by the author of HN1F and HSSB, so its author has good credentials. The main character has been dealing with matters with intelligence rather than pure strength. The world is also slowly being expanded on, and it seems nicely fleshed out. Thus far an enjoyable novel with a good translation, the best of this preview batch.
