some reader is impatient. instead of delving into the story, observing the world and characters, they put themselves first. things 'like if it's me' or 'no way this can happen ' bring fourth question like 'why is he' such and such. a story is telling the journey of an mc, even if the mc act illogicaly, it is the story of an illogical mc. the story itself may or may not cater to one's preferences. it's not the author or the story having problem, but maybe it is being presented in a way that is not certain reader's preferences. art is subjective. i find abstract paintings weird, but apparently they are sold for millions. am im the wrong or the painter? none.

I started with latin and Hindi because they will be useful to me in the near future. I then moved on to Slavic based languages like polish, Austrian and Ukrainian. luffy body is normal, but also having the properties of a rubber. all from the courtesy of the most broken devil fruit. thus, luffy can and will gain muscle, but still being a rubber guy. one piece is anything, but logic. it was made purposely nonsense and whacky by oda, to lighten the atmosphere. sure, make the stories dark, serious or gore even.. but logic just doesn't go well with it.
While Luffy's powers of having a rubber body was bad for his strength gain, Coby's fruit was totally the opposite. Helping him gain strength because of the fast recovery.
