Back when this novel was in it's early days, I decided not to read it because everyone was criticizing this torture arc, honestly even to this day I still choose not to read these past few chapters, hopefully I didn't miss anything important. I mean, slavery and torture is just wrong on all angles, whether MC benefitted from it or not. So just gonna pretend these chapters never existed.
