I'm confused as well, it's extra danger for no reason

This seems like a sheltered response. Yes, she is not evil but I'm not sure why you don't think its a HUGE deal she did that. She chose Sunny to be the one to die. Like I said she isn't evil, but she is not Sunny's friend.

Seem like he's in Nephs flow no matter how hard he rebels. It's her telling him he will do what she wants even without his flaw. Hopefully we start to see some change in this

Because even though it is not her usuing his flaw, it's her telling him his fate is not up to him.

Cassie had no idea Sunnie would survive. Her vision only involved "darkness swallowing the an angel". She saw that as Neph losing the fight which to her meant Neph dying. She chose Sunny to die, not stay behind.

Sunny seems completely different than when he was in the first nightmare. I feel like he gave the ascended memory away for nearly nothing
