The correct version is 一叶知秋, which means one leaf signals the coming of autumn. Mucheng's typo made it so the meaning changes to one leaf amidst autumn: 一叶之秋 (One Autumn Leaf). In terms of pinyin/intonation, they are exactly the same

My honest commentary in hopes of improvement: Readers should feel engaged from the start of the story, but after the prologue and chapter 1, it still feels aimless. From what I understand, the introduction was meant to show the grim setting and struggles the wolves face. However, the plot hasn't picked up and stakes are low. It felt painful slogging through chapter 1 (I had a headache right after finishing it) and it was tempting to drop the story altogether. Lots of descriptions with zero purpose. Too much repetition (ie. unborn baby), confusing narrative and no overarching goal. There're also many gaps in logic and weak transitions between perspective changes/flashbacks. The read is confusing at best and torturous at worst. It's not immersive; I'm spectating the events rather than being involved with the wolves and understanding their struggles. It's hard to sympathise with characters you do not care for. Nice to see some interactions and teamwork amongst the cast and more insight is given on the human/wolf conflict and ideologies. There is little reason for readers to be invested in them, however. At this point, my favourite character is the poor boar.

There's a high probability that AWY would become the next YWZ in the future. Perhaps he'll become a new Master Tactician after the current ones retire
