Considering his previous ‘coincidences’ and involvement, it was probably to out EBS for conspiring with the outer deities, so now he can deal with him and none of the other gods have a good enough reason to interfere. Mr K and friends haven’t shown up yet so I bet they’ll also swoop in last minute to help stop the rebellion and Adam will quietly take over the sun church. Or something to that effect

I’m anticipating that at the climax when the heretic alliance is about to succeed, Adam’s gonna swoop in to intervene, with all the justification he needs to get rid of EBS and break the stalemate between him and storm, knowledge and sun gods without any of the other gods having a good reason to help EBS. Which we will probably found out is why he was pushing so many ‘coincidences’ in earlier chapters

Wasn’t Adam pushing a lot of coincidences around Lumian? Now I’m thinking it was all to push things along with this plan for the sake of exposing EBS so that he has an excuse to take him out without interference from the other gods

Would be interesting to see how Lumian deals with Beyonders of this pathway. Since they can sense hostile intent once they reach a certain level, it would make them difficult prey for a Hunter. His new luck characteristic is probably gonna come in clutch for tracking them. And probably new funny coincidences to go with it lol

Gonna guess Padre is the new Ince Zangwill of the book, and becomes the focus of Lumian’s vengeance

It could also be that someone’ s using concealment or a psychological cue etc. on her so she doesn’t notice a lotta things

Really enjoyed this book! For anyone interested in reading more, this book is actually a prequel to another book, Noble Emblem. Unfortunately, the author was forced to discontinue it cuz someone reported it to content moderators (it’s more overt in sexual themes). Noble Emblem focuses on Betta, and brings up a lot of plot points and references that Author has been consistent in covering in this book. He tried to continue it on his wechat account but then was forced to stop that as well, and resorted to outlining how he planned to finish the book on wechat. He recently posted a side story for Mages are OP on his wechat focusing on Andonara, but it might not make sense if you haven’t read Noble Emblem or until he covers relevant plot points in this book, which is why I recommend reading Noble Emblem. Hope this is helpful to fans!

For anyone who doesnt know, Betta is the main character of Noble Emblem, which this novel is a prequel to. Author was forced to discontinue it and so started this book instead
