This actually hit home with me. I had always thought that to comfort people, you have to talk to them. I've always had people needing advice so I naturally talked. I have this friend in college, she was crying and I knew she wanted comfort. So I went and hugged her (and yeah started the talk). She said, "I just need comfort, I don't need the talk" It was like my mind was blown that there's a different way to comfort people. I changed my way of comforting since then, though it was hard at first. And yeah, Lucas just reminded me of me everytime I ask for permission. But sometimes, just hugging is enough💖💖
