I cant recall the last time I’ve seen the word “shan’t” and yet now I’ve seen it multiple times in one chapter.

But she was already terrified of Gu girl every time they bring her up. I didn’t think she’d be brave enough to insult her friend in front of her then tell some cannon fodder to try and grab her.

I kind of expected our Gu Girl to absorb that purple lightning for him.
