One cannot receive a lifetime achievement award after only being in the industry for three years, barely into one's 20's.
Lol, go ahead, throw more dirty water on capitalism. Of course everyone knows the entertainment industry had a fabulous reputation for thousands of years before "capitalism" reared it's ugly head, 😂.
Her family should still have enough power at the moment to deter most people.
So she was aware he doted on her (wouldn't have wanted her to be disappointed). (Dude was obviously bipolar though and needed help, so no reminder needed he also made her afraid.)
*nostalgia* I remember in the 80's and 90's as a child thinking the 50's and 60's were history and the distant past. Now I'm the same age as my parents were then... and understand what it must have felt like for their youth decades to be thought of as history. Shock, mostly, lol😆.
Uh, I'm not sure if I should despise her for 'stealing' after a disaster, or commend her for upholding "waste not, want not".
Equal opportunity cheater.
As a teenager in the 90's bell bottoms and wide flair ankle trousers\jeans did have a return in popularity around this time. I myself broke out my mom's old jeans and wore a bit of fashion nostalgia for a while😉
Makes it sound like she was popping out a baby a year🙄.
Households have rules, it's not wrong.
Perhaps it was a cashier's check; here (North America) they can/could even be bought at the post office (maybe not such a large amount tho)
Even if he can and may be forgiven there is no way she could have peace of mind staying with him. Disregarding his horrible mother she would always be worried her child might disappear one day; for the child's safety at the very least, she cannot stay with him.
If that was the original intent then sure. But that wasn't the intent of the marriage, so your words are rather harsh and incorrect. She surely had motives that were not in the bride's best interest, but hoping she'd immediately have a grandchild (and forcing the act to conceive one) was not one of them.
Ninomiya Kinjiro (Sontoku)
It's like a gambling addiction.
People can be offended by ANYTHING, can't they. Just let people have personal preferences, hmm?
"the WORD black" (not work). Webnovel should have a way to edit.
It's narcissistic because because you automatically are assuming that they dislike a dark skin tone because of YOU, a black person. That is narcissistic. Not everything is about YOU. Sorry to say, the world and its languages do not revolve around black people. Black people do not have a monopoly on the work black and its meanings. Black people aren't even black, they are brown. So get off your high horse. Your meaning of black is not the author's meaning of black.
It's not racist. Every culture has different standards of beauty. They're all the same race so how can it be racist? Honestly... Not everything is about black people... It's actually quite narcissistic (for black people) and racist in itself to think that any reference to a dark skin tone is referring to an adversion to the "black" race.
