The confession of the soul of the soldier Mark captured.
It's fine. It's had been checked years ago. Nothing wrong with my body aside from a little higher blood sugar than normal and lack of exercise. I had this head ache for years already since college. It's nothing too bad and fatal. It's just the pain can be too painful when I accumulated too much stress.
Fortunately and unfortunately, it's not worse. Its a headache tied to my body clock and stress build up. No meds can heal it. Not even surgery. It's nothing fatal, though. It goes and leave every year. The only relief is painkillers and trying not to build up too much stress since it also increases the pain when the cluster headache arrives. It's actually much worse in college when it started. I tend to attend the last two years of classes with this and tearing up of pain in the middle of the class. The pain during our the stress during our thesis was the worst times. The death of our puppy last month might be the reason of my stress this time. After all, it died crying in my arms. It might have been fine I'm normal but I'm one of those Empath people that's where I got Mark's empath abilities. So, having the painful woes of something dying in my arms is not really an ideal situation for someone like me with my body conditions.
Well, I'm really sorry about that. I want to stack drafts if I can but my body is the problem. I sit down too long in front of the PC without getting too sleepy. At worst times, I start falling asleep in front of the PC. And it got even worse after Covid, which also made me too sickly. So, when sudden stuff comes up, the updates get interrupted. I'm already thinking of taking medication for this. It's just I don't have the budget yet. 2,500 pesos a month isn't a low price for me.
Haha, I wish the problem really is food since it will easier to solve. Sadly, it isn't food. It's just Covid left my immune system in disarray. I'm not this sickly before Covid. >.<
Belated Happy Birthday. Sorry I wasn't able to read your previous comment. Had to be away from the PC to rest. Although I wasn't able to gift another chapter immediately, but expect a day with two chapters after I come back. Just not immediately though, haha. >.<
Sorry guys, I know I'm out for a few days again, but I'll have to rest for another day or two. Turns out the thing causing me fever and unusual nausea is an ear infection. It got a bit bad since I neglected it, thinking its just another usual flu or cold. It's until my ear started to hurt bad that I realized. I had to get it cleaned and disinfected. Also rest a bit while downing antibiotics. I'll be back soon. >.<
Haha, sorry about that. Just think of it as the ramblings of a deranged person or something. While it is a way of me telling why the updates are unstable, its also more or less the only way I can complain about things. Having a few chronic illnesses with no cure then getting more illnesses on top of things can drive people a bit crazy at times. >.<
Yeah, he did. That's why he can keep up with the insane speeds of this Mechid. He did have his Future Sight to predict the attacks but it needs enough speed to actually avoid the attacks. The speed he gained from the Bone Armor is pretty useless in aerial fights, though. >.<
Unfortunately, that's for next chapter. Haha. The Earth Demon's unique power was only showed once and was never explained yet, anyway. That's why some explanation is really needed including why the crystal didn't work when Mark tried to use it. >.<
Its the unresponsive crystal. He can't eat the PsyCrystal... Well, he probably could but he have to tear it off his arm first. And there won't be any effect aside from indigestion and difficulty of getting it out. Haha.
Aephelia is the [Infected Controller]. Also Freed's personal maid and childhood friend back in Eriellis. She did not inherit any memory. It's her own since her consciousness managed to survive inside the crystal which got fused with Miracle's real mother and got passed unto Miracle when she was born. She was asleep all this time until the apocalypse came though. Then, after Mark relocated Aephelia's consciousness into the soulless body of a Sylph after fighting the sealed Miasma Deity. When they went to the Spirit Dimension, Bathala gave Aephelia a new body as a meeting gift. And now, here we are. Aephelia is the only remaining member of Freed's group since both Freed and Keeper are nothing but memories inside Mark and Iola now.
Haha, your welcome. I'll do my best to finish my novel. I also get frustrated when novels I read just go on hiatus or become abandoned by their authors without warning. I don't want to follow their steps. So unless I suddenly died or something, I will not stop. I also have other themes to write stories about after this. The list even grew because of my exciting nightmare just recently. But I don't want to jump unto another story while Mutagen isn't finished yet. Probably, Mutagen will reach around 1500 to 2000 chapters. So the other stories will have to wait... Haha. I just wish I can write more. It's just I became too sickly and narcoleptic. Geez... >.<
Mark's blood metal is already reddish black way before he got miasma. But his whole body mutated at that time when the Diety of Bloodshed tried to possess him but failed. So, his whole body, including blood, became immune to miasma, so all his weapons made of his can be clad with it without breaking. To be honest, I forgot to explain this part, including where Mark is constantly improving his weapons, so even his old weapons were all reconstructed and upgraded now. Mark's old weapons will definitely corrode and melt if clad with miasma or his miasmic flames now. >.<
