Right...not like you need “culture” to go see a musical. It’s just a form of entertainment you either like or don’t care for... One can have an I.Q. of 80 and still enjoy opera. Might not understand what’s going on but can still enjoy/appreciate it.
I don’t think one can consider his history/world the same as ours. The author has floating neighborhoods in the 22nd century. Even if technology booms this century, logistically so many of them could not have been built in the timeline mentioned.
