There are some words that can describe it. Full of filler. Wasted potential. Can skip 3/4 of chapter ignoring fillers.

The only suspense is wondering if story continues between/after filler words and the 5th pov for the same thing.

The later chapters completely throws the power system out of the window, and mc getting stronger only makes it more confusing, since every new enemy usually can stomp the mc if not for his brain. Just make it a supernatural power novel, problem solved.

I gave five star tilll about ch 500, but author is working super hard on reducing it. The power sytem is so screwed up that I have no idea how strong mc is, and author likes to throw out of power system stuff at mc who can only win by tricks/gimmicks. Like in the latest 20 30 ch. Mc is weaker than his emperor enemy. Said enemy acfually even stronger creator god. Said creator god got eaten by a bug that haven't even left the cocoon. I wouldn't mind if the novel didn't start with a proper power system. Author kinda went insane when mc used that talking female underwear to travel. Yeah talking underwear. And yeah that's just the start of madness. Since then mc while getting stronger, usually only can beat up the minons with pure combat. Mc getting stronger just makes it more sad since author just pulls an even more insanely strong enemy out of his ass. I still read it like a popcorn or parody novel if I can witch brings... Novel rarely updates 2-3 times a month, maybe I missed an authour note, but checked last 2-3 chapter and no sign. Zero communication, and then a half-hearted apology after it(not garanteed) are the marks of today's writers/translators. Do they think they lose less readers if they keep us in uncertainity? They ask money for this. What happens when you won't show up at work without asking for holiday? You get fired. This should fix the translated novels at least.

the whole xianxia genre is hillarious, they call it self cultivation and enlightement, while most people in it act like the most savage starving cavemen.

The story is nice, got a nice detailed unique power system, but it's so disgustingly full of filler that One Piece asking him to speed up. An average chapter: So mc doing cool stuff Gotta describe it in 4-5 pov how cool it is. If pov got tits it also mentions how beautiful they are(just like every other named female) They also meantions some1 who is very good at what mc currently doing. But wait, what's that strange 3 sentences in this chapter not descibing anything?! Oh it was the plot, forgot it existed for a minute. I still read the novel, becasue the story is that good. But you gotta move trough sewage to get to the gold.

I like that a lot of novels continue the translation, but they dropped in quality , mixing up names, words, and have worse grammar than before.

There are dozens of time returning and tower conquering novels, they are like a genre. Like these new mentally disabled arrogabt mcs with ssssssss talents at the start novels, with blatant chinese nationalism.

You are at a good part, later the too long descriptions and the peanut gallery makes the story crawl at a snail's pace. Gotta scroll over lots of shit to move forward, and stockpile chapters

It's still fine to read, just gotta stockpile, and scroll over the peanut gallery and beauty/powers descriptions.
