Nope! Never said that. I'm just calling their relationship what it is at this point. It's not a healthy one. It's up to them if they want to stick it out or not and for how long and if they plan to change things or themselves. (and don't worry, they will grow, in later chapters) But for now, we need to call unhealthy when we see an unhealthy relationship. We need to acknowledge something first, before we can either accept it as it is and don't do anything or find ways to fix whatever needs fixing. It's up to the people involved.

Well that's a different matter then. If Riftan doesn't want to leave but is forced to leave. He's gonna harbor ill feelings towards Maxi. Unless that's what he wants? Since he seems to hate himself for being desperately in love with her.
