In the month that had passed things had only gone from good to great, with the surveyor coming from Gringotts the day after my meeting with the Tonks. I had been given a quote and a timescale on how long it would take to fix all that was wrong with the house, which wasn't all that much, aside from a complete re-carpeting and re-flooring of most of the rooms, with new wallpaper or paint put on and updating the furniture and some décor it didn't take that long at all. Well, it would have had I went about organising it all myself, but through Gringotts, Ironclaw had everything managed for me with each group that came to the manor sworn to secrecy as to who they were doing work for. As soon as one group was done with one task the next group came in to do the next with no downtime. It took a grand total of five days but after those five days, the manor was looking by far more like the manor that it was when I first moved in and with the two new elves I had purchased the manor was kept spotless. During the renovation, I even discovered there was a back garden that Aunt Andy had shown me.
