actually, (mind you idk if it relevant) if they have an empire with an emperor then her father could actually be a king since that is a lower position but can be given to like the emperor's direct family or those who help look over a piece of territory the size of a kingdom while the empire will be multiple kingdoms together (again idk if it's relevant but this is my understanding (very basic lol))

the most basic example I can think of honestly is kind of like what hand you write with there are people who are right-handed there are people who are left-handed and there are people who are ambidextrous, just because you write with you right hand doesn't mean you necessarily can't with your left you just might not be as good with it he was one of the people who forced himself to be able to write with both to some degree in his original life well in this life because of his bloodline and his upgrades from the system he is now more of ambidextrous person than just a right-handed person (and yes I know this is a weird analogy but it just popped in my head and it worked for my brain so I thought it might work for others)

I'm unsure about what chapter it was in but if I remember correctly the way they explained it was something about the difference in mana veins, something like if they are bigger and thicker than meant for mages and I think thinner or smaller they were meant for the body, I might have it backwards but it was something along those lines the very least
