🤔Phoenix is south east of vegas, also the radius of the common nuke(w-76) blast, including the heat wave, is only around 50km² (19.3mi²)where as the phoenix metro area is roughly 37811.2km² (14,599 mi²). Assuming the perfect location to cause the most harm, you would still need 3 or more to devastate the city as much as he said, including if half if the city was destroyed before the nukes even went off. None of this even mentions the fact that phoenix is a very... decentralized city, most of the population doesn't live downtown, they instead live rather spread out. Of all major US cities to nuke phoenix would be one of the least effective and would leave most of the populace unharmed, foolish plan!
