I know many people don't think like this or don't like such a big age difference but it's not like you can fully control feelings. You can suppress them and ignore them but they don't go away just because you want them to. I think that as long as the older party doesn't force their feelings on the younger party and can wait till they are of age such a big age difference isn't such a big deal. Maybe I feel like this because my own parents have an age difference of exactly 9 years.
