It is a very interesting story but I think the author will drop at some point, if it is not already the case. Every time these gaps occur, probably a few more readers are lost and with that the popularity of the story and its potential revenue. A bit sad, but it was good until now.
I do remember that but not the specifics. Do you know the chapter where she went away and sush ghost was left behind? I would like to reread it.
Can someone point me to where we got the new ghost? I can't recall it. Somehow I forgot this part of the story. I thought I would eventually remember but it has been a few chapters where I just had to pretend to know :-p
I guess it was indeed a mistake from my part. Probably motivated by how many other similar stories have racist remarks.
I guess from the authors points of view, even in another world and dimension, high society still needs to be related to white people :-)
I guess the author failed to realize that if a meteor is not within that 50000km boundary when the "detector is run" it would would not be observable until one hour later. In other words, too late. It would probably be easier to fix it as a constant detection without precision, to save energy. To know exactly where, or to request more information about an object within range, a conscious decision would be required and a lot of energy.
Unfortunately, it does not matter. You would still not be able to see an entire universe. It was probably a small mistake from the author that will be corrected or ignored.
The author is doing an amazing job but probably suffering from the same "scale -disease" of some Chinese writers. It is beyond our capability to imagine a body the size of our universe an all issues this would bring. Two small examples would be that Jake would have no way to see the "entirety" of something as humongous as a universe. No matter how far from such planet he is. Second, there is not enough planets or mass in out universe to create something solid out of it the size of the said universe. I guess regardless of the fantasy reasons to explain these scales, maybe the author coud revisit them to make it easier for us :-)
