author got a book deal with Amazon, first books worth of content had to be removed from everywhere for the deal to go through. Now you can read it on kindle or buy the book on Amazon. Good for him I guess

I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but this whole novel is full of issues. If this novel had been called "Pierces running monolog about how uninterested he is in literally everything" than I would have know going in what yo expect from this "novel". The MC rarely interacts with anyone, he doesn't fight, he just sends his newest op follower/slave to fight for him and then reaps all the rewards. He supposedly trains with the angel to hone his fighting skills, but if it actually happens, it's all off screen. Every "fight" is just him telling his slaves to "hurry up and end this" because he wants to go to sleep, yet his body literally doesn't need sleep. There is no world building, like at all. Random shit pops up with little to no explanation and then goes away almost as quickly. I really wanted to like this book, it had potential in its core concept, but it failed to reach even the smallest success. It really doesn't help that it ends at ch285 and nothing has been done at all. The MC coasted through the whole book, and even at the end, fails to remember simple shit like giving a literal Godhood to the angel, his first follower, who's name he fails to use at all after he gains a follower more powerful than her.... all around lazy, sloppy writing and I kept hoping for some kind of growth or improvement from the author, but it's just not there.

I've read about 1000 chapters of this book and at first it was really interesting, if you ignore the terrible editing/grammar. But it got to a point where the only unique thing about cultivation in this book basically disappeared. Other than the MC's monsters, none of the other people's monsters even get a mention. The book turns into another generic cultivation novel, except the MC of this book has almost no advantages over anyone except his terrible luck which somehow keeps blessing him with opportunities that only work out that way because his monster talks to the ancient entities he runs into and then plays dumb when the MC asks her about it. It was interesting the first couple times but quickly gets old.

I think that they introduced Odin because hes going to be the "villain " of the next arc. he and Anthony are polar opposites after all. One being about his entire family, strength in numbers and the other being all about relying on themselves, who knows, maybe they will end up allies in the end, after Anthony shows him how you can be individually strong and still support those important to you

couldnt agree more, I wasnt a fan of the endless grind, even made the joke about changing the title now and then to something like "unlimited grind - the arcane path", but in the end I truly appreciated the book and more than that, a real, solid ending. so many books fail to create an ending that doesnt leave you feeling empty and this one, it filled in all the blanks, thanks to the author for all their hard work

still cant beleive it ends at what seems like maybe halfway through....

this books updates are always slow and erratic... it's a shame really

yea like literally anyone else's monsters but his... I thought monsters were supposed to cap how far you could go, yet nothing has been mentioned about them in forever. this is basically just another cookie cutter cultivation novel now

like the story so far, editing still needs a giant amount of help, but I'll live. my biggest issue is that other than ashlyn, WHERE ARE THE MONSTERS? If you look at her as just an abnormal pet, this becomes just another cultivation novel and that seems like a miss opportunity to me

I'll probably just stop reading it. I enjoy the setting and the story isnt bad, but the release rate is just abysmal. might try reading in a few months when theres actually something to read
