Pretty sure the MTA stance has been explained on alien tech at least 2 times, and it was not the understanding part is the issue but that in this universe everyone is pushed to be a human supremacist and all tech has to be first adapted into human technology before the MTA approve so the look of human superiority can be preserved :P

20 ships are identical because they came from the same designer and producer, but the other ships are just simply designed by a wide variety of cultures with different outlook on combat carriers. So I don't think its about suply shortage :P

Just because they have to leave after a certain ammount of days it doesn't mean they have to use up their days immediately as they arrive, or that they can't return later to trade or participate if they can still afford the price.

Pretty sure he realized his overreliance on design spirits a few hundred chapters ago and even ranted about how he needs to stop neglecting the pilot and the mech, guess he didn t really learned from his mistakes :P And honestly, Im not convinced he will this time either.

To be fair Jannzie is really proud that she will protect the clan from the big bad Patriach, but who will protect the clan from Jannzie? :D We need a second defensive expert asap, who breaks through after listening to Jannzie's Bs and makes their will can revolve around protecting Ves from her :P
