Just some honest criticism , His last two wishes go against the character you have built till then. First, Having extrem high potential would effectively nullify any form of struggle that a bored person with high IQ would be looking for. Second, The third wish negates the need for exploration. Third, in background he asked to be surprised and the very next moment goes ahead and lays down all the selection parameters, other than the parent’s name. So taking his previous life and wishes into accounts, what I inferred is that he was bored in his first life and wishes to be bored in his next. Not something a person with high IQ would do.
