Maybe there is a confusion here. Yes, there is only one single original creator but he has multiple personalities (with the lord that created everything the omnipotent and omniscient god being one such personality, he is also sometimes called the original creator or the ancient one, which is why there is confusion). some of the other personalities include Lotm, MoTD, MoGD, SOC, COI e.t.c. when the original creator personality (not the original original creator) died that formed some of the 22 pathways not all of them, his death was so explosive that it ripped some of the pathways, sefirot e.t.c from other personalities (other ancient ones, oldest ones) and those separated pathways along with the pathways from the original creator became the 22 pathways. That also means there are not just 22 pathways to the divine, that is just what earth had. Now that the Earth's protective barrier is collapsing new pathways that belong to the other ancient ones can be seen in the stories as boons (like lumians dancer pathways, or painter pathway e.t.c)

although the likely of that increased, I don't think we can say that with a high probability because he was being protected so far by church of knowledge and wisdom who are against Adam and ouroborous is pretty loyal to Adam. If he is Ouroborous then we are missing something major to understand why he would betray Adam.

Yes, there are multiple ancient ones. In LOTM it was mentioned that the threat from cosmos comes from the great old ones coming to retrieve their pathways and sefirot or ancient ones coming to get NEIGHBORING pathways (hence similarity in power to Earth's pathways) and sefirot to gain power and become a pillar.
