The last time Flame Belle was in hibernation she was still able to lend him her flames. there is absolutely no reason he shouldn't be able to use calamity and sunrise ardent flames. a few times he has even shown to use flame belles moves without possession. The inconsistency of his flame and the author just handicapping mo fan on a whim is annoying.

all of a sudden, magicians are no longer capable of sensing demonic beasts nearby.

during the Sahara desert arc, Mo Fan was good with directions. and now he is bad with them. so inconsistent.

idk why mo fan even bothers trying to remain low-key. even when he publicly becomes the most powerful magician of his generation in a competition that the whole world supposedly was watching, no one recognizes him.

author adding some random restriction to the demon element and then says Salan already knows about this restriction. the random restrictions and seemingly omniscient of villains is getting annoying.

author just glosses over the fact that the MC learned how to combine spells with no explanation. he copied an innate talent. something no one has accomplished and we get nothing on how he did it?

author creates round robin tournament to get top 16 if 32 teams. but then constantly uses the excuse of meeting the American team in the first round being the cause of them losing at the last tournament. did the American team kill everyone on their team or something? because 1 loss in round robin is nothing.

they should leave 1 person at location and have rest fan out 1km. someone will make it to the edge.

MC making a mistake doesn't make him feel more relatable. It looks like a crutch to make the MC look weaker than he actually is.

you don't have to look straight up to see an object that is 50 meters high if it's 300 meters away. it would take a 300 meter object for you to even need to raise your head on a 45 degree angle.

old but his fire is stronger than lightning. it's almost lvl 3 and therefore his quickest. he spent his last day in three step pagoda only on fire.

nothing is more annoying than reading a hard fought fight that could have been avoided easily. if the author wanted to force this fight, it should have been an ambush. He shouldn't have given the MC 30+ seconds while the beast slowly approaches and enters the cage slowly by deforming itself. the MC had plenty of time to preemptively attack and instead just waiting for it to attack first. He is acting like he never fought a magical beast before.

it's annoying how dumb the MC is. let's just watch cursed beast slowly approach and not prepare a spell...
