Very good novel, didn't realize how good it was until 100 chaps into the raws. The system rewards the mc differently depending on the choices he makes, and he uses this to gauge the danger of each choice. He chooses the easiest because from experience he knows the others are way to hard to complete. You might think that the choices are made up by the author to force some situations but to my surprise, everything ties together, the story is well written and the reasons for each choice made clear, and it is satisfying realizing a certain obscure choice made many chapters back influenced the outcome. I would certainly recommend giving this a try, unless you dislike an mc who doesn't flirt with every girl he meets or acts arrogant and always gets saved by plot armor (small spoiler there will be side characters like that in the future) Tags: op mc; omnipotent; little romance; hiding abilities; disciples
It's complete trash, and I love it. Very normal cliche doomsday-regressor-with-system novel, MC very OP very quickly, harem is expected (though not confirmed), plot holes the size of mariana trench, etc. If you dislike such novels and need decent plot and characters, move along, but if you're like me and enjoy a wish fulfillment trash novel like this one to pass the time, its very good.
Review as of 20 chapters: Bit of a more detailed summary here, the mc is a modern day earthling who gets transmigrated to the primitive world, while a VR machine from the far future gets lost in the quantum realm and ends up in his hands. The game is very special as all humans in the future realm play it to obtain techniques, treasures, etc and cultivate since they can enter with their real bodies (not the mc since he is in a different dimension) The mc has shit talent, like extremely bad, but to make up for it, he obtains an ascendant grade technique which can, so far, merge, enhance and upgrade techniques, recipes, cultivation arts, etc at the cost of his cultivation (potentially due to the special VR machine he got). The second benefit he obtains is time, due to being in a different dimension, there is a time dilation of 100, so he spends months in the game while sleeping, and lives a full life time in half a year, whereas others can only play until they die. The story has been really enjoyable so far, the mc slowly obtains recipes and techniques over the years, and uses them to upgrade himself in the real world. There are plenty of time skips and the cultivation system is a bit messy, but I really like it so far.
