I guess it could look that way to other people (last chapter being the same as chapter 13). As I see it, it's more him turning away from the mentality of doing everything for Raiden and being true to himself which is pretty much the oppositeof chapter 13 and what followed. Of course, some people aren't going to like it and that's something I have to live with, I guess. If their relationship continued in the same way, it would've been more destructive than good. It opens way for Raiden to have more development since why would she bother changing if Edric glossed over everything that was bad about her and was completely loyal to her regardless? When I wrote this, I had three things in mind. Burying Alysanne physically and mentally while Edric begins to live for something that isn't Raiden and Raiden herself taking strides to improve as a person. I believe that long-term it's better (if not essential) for them to go through this hurdle to have a proper relationship in the future. Sure, it's not 100% wholesome or whatever, where everythinggoes right, but him being her devoted tool (robotic simp, in other words) wasn't that either. - Profound_deity1mthCommented

Force = mass x acceleration. Her turning to 1 kilogram using soru then right on contact change her weight to 10,000 kilograms(which is probably her limit just because she’s weak so it could be higher) would be insane. Powerscalers claim that top tier one piece characters are multiple time the speed of light. If that’s even remotely true then the kilo kilo fruit is probably the best fruit in the series

Unfortunately seawater only weakens them but doesn’t negate their powers, only seastone negates their powers. We’ve seen Luffy still able to stretch while underwater
But why stop there? Gas bombs were a viable option, so why not seawater bombs? Imagine finely atomizing seawater, allowing even small inhaled quantities to weaken, if not entirely negate, a Devil Fruit user's powers. I would keep Izuku op. I can already tell by your post this chapter that if a bunch of people come hating on a nerfed izuku or hating that you buffed everyone you’re gonna end up discouraged and drop the fic. I’d really rather you continue as is and actually finish the fic(99% of fics on this app don’t ever get finished). Plus if you wanna challenge yourself as a writer then creating unique situations to make it harder for your op character is much than lazily just nerfing him or buffing the villains
